At outfitideas, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI styling service at outfitideas.app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: when you sign up via Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if provided by Google).
• Style profile (optional): body shape, city, default vibe, and a list of wardrobe anchor pieces — only when you fill them in on /account.
• Usage data: non-personally identifiable analytics such as pages visited, features used, and outfit generation counts.
• Payment information: payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Stripe). We do not store your credit card details.

3. Information We Process Temporarily

During outfit generation and virtual try-on, the following data is processed temporarily:

• Brief text submitted to the AI Stylist composer
• Portrait photos uploaded for virtual try-on
• Reference outfit images selected for try-on
• Generated outfit images during the creation process

Generated outfit images are stored for a limited period to allow you to view and download them. Portrait photos uploaded for virtual try-on are deleted within 24 hours after generation completes (subject to a scheduled cleanup job).

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the styling service (matching, weekly planning, virtual try-on)
• Manage your account and subscription
• Improve the quality and performance of the Service
• Communicate important updates about the Service
• Maintain security and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal obligations
• Feature selected generated content in our community gallery and marketing materials, as described in our Terms of Service (Section 5.3)

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

• AI model providers: brief text and reference images are sent to AI inference providers (e.g., OpenRouter for language models, APIMart for image generation, Cloudflare Workers AI). These providers have their own privacy policies.
• Payment processors: Stripe handles subscription billing and payment data.
• Analytics services: non-identifiable usage data for service improvement.
• Object storage: generated images and uploaded portraits are stored on Cloudflare R2 with access controls.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, scoped object storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Generated outfit images are stored as part of your saved looks and weekly plans until you delete them. Portrait photos uploaded for virtual try-on are deleted within 24 hours after generation completes. If you delete your account, all associated data will be removed within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. Analytics cookies, if used, collect only non-identifiable data.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing
